Ultrasound

We offer imaging with ultrasound in the convenience of our office.  Ultrasound of the abdomen can evaluate organs such as the liver, bile ducts, gallbladder, spleen and the kidneys.  It is a quick and safe way to evaluate for gallstones or kidney stones.  Ultrasound can be used to examine the liver when labs show abnormal liver enzymes and can detect fatty liver.  Ultrasound can be used as a checkup for many signs and symptoms such as abdominal pain, enlarged liver or spleen or fluid in the abdomen.

Ultrasound of the pelvis is a great way to evaluate the female organs including ovaries and the uterus.

We offer a variety of ultrasound and Doppler exams that can also evaluate the heart or blood vessels of your neck and lower extremities.

ECG – Electrocardiogram

ECG or EKG measures and records the electrical activity of the heart and analyzes it through a computer algorithm to detect heart problems such an abnormal rhythm or a prior damage to the heart.  If you are over 45 years of age, an EKG may be useful before having a procedure such as endoscopy or colonoscopy to ensure that your heart is functioning well.  For your convenience and safety, we offer ECG at the convenience of our office.
